Fiberoptic Components awarded grant; initiates ISO 9001 certification initiative

Sterling, MA: Fiberoptic Components, LLC is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund. This grant provides for Fiberoptic Components to implement processes and procedures in order to seek ISO 9001 (2000) certification for its Sterling, MA USA facility. Peter A. Hunter, Chairman of Fiberoptic Components indicated that "Fiberoptic Components has always designed and produced the highest quality products for its OEM customers throughout the world. With the grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and through the hard work of our dedicated employees, we intend to seek ISO 9001 certification to further support our commitment to quality." The Company anticipates seeking ISO registration in early to mid 2007.
