Engineering

Our experienced engineers have over seventy five years experience in the fiberoptics industry.  We know how to produce the best results optically and design a product with a long working life.  We understand the role of an OEM supplier and can assist during the product design stage to ensure that your design meets cost and reliability targets.  We design each product on modern CAD workstations before it is released to production and follow strict configuration control practices.  Consider us an integral part of your design team and use us according.

Rapid Prototyping

We operate a prototype assembly shop, including an in-house machine shop, for rapid prototyping of new products.  Let us make your prototypes and deliver them quickly.  We are committed to your support.

Fiber Drawing

We draw our own glass fiber using only the highest grades of raw material.  All fiber drawing operations have substantial capacity, ensuring we can meet increases in demand.

Volume Production

When your product goes into production, we are ready to meet your volume requirements.  Our production staff are experienced with production volumes ranging from dozens to hundreds of thousands of units.  We follow the philosophy and practices of lean manufacturing/continuous improvement to ensure the lowest possible production costs.

Quality Control

We believe that quality is built in, not inspected in. Our quality assurance staff employs modern, calibrated test and measurement equipment to verify product specifications and performance. Certification of IS9001:2000 Quality Management System and ISO13485:2003 Medical Device regulations provide the tools necessary for your most stringent application requirements.

Final Packaging

As part of our total solution process ship your product in the packaging that meets your specifications, be it bulk packaging or individual unit packs for your end user.

Warehousing/Distribution

Once all of the design, manufacturing, testing, assembly and packaging are completed, we can warehouse and ship your product directly to you or to an end user in your packaging.  Integrated customer packaging, dock to stock capabilities and direct shipping is part of our total solution process that can often deliver significant customer savings.
